Nadhim Zahawi and family fled to the UK from Saddam Hussein's Iraq as a child refugee in 1978. Unable to speak English when he arrived, he became a hugely successful businessman and an MP before serving as Chancellor of the Exchequor.

His origin story is the very antithesis of the Reform narrative.

It is long overdue accountability. You have the right to say whatever you want, but if you’re causing #violence and #hate to grow, you are going to be in charge with #incitement something I promised to do to make sure happens to @ElonMusk.bsky.social

If things are heading in this direction, is this really censorship?

Or long-overdue accountability?

Congress should pass a law requiring agents to show their faces, identify themselves, & wear their badges. It’s not agent safety we have to worry about these days.

End so-called Kavanaugh stops & admin warrant-based forced entry into homes too. Let’s have a Constitution.

In the six-plus years since, every mental health professional I have come across has told me that my essay had it exactly right. I think every word of it has been proven right many times over.

Even today, he's still only going to get worse.
