A federal judge in Virginia on Monday dismissed criminal charges filed against New York Attorney General Letitia “Tish” James, finding the handpicked appointment of the prosecutor assigned to the case was unconstitutional.

Anyway, if you haven’t gotten this year’s flu or Covid vax yet now is a great time to do it. You’ll be at peak immunity for the December/January surge.

Peace in Ukraine must come on Ukraine’s terms, not Russia’s. Trump’s arbitrary Thanksgiving deadline and draft peace plan full of Russian priorities has this backwards.

A peace deal that sacrifices Ukraine’s freedom is no peace at all—just an invitation for Putin to try again.

I also think it may be mentally easier to try and connect getting sick to something you know happened (vaccine) vs. an infection you may not be testing for. I've had rare medicine side effects so am no way saying complications don't happen with vax.

I do acknowledge that in very rare instances vaccine complications can happen but it's much more rare than infection-triggered chronic illness.

Might be controversial but I feel like some researchers on this topic aren't saying this is a possibility enough. Covid is...everywhere and it makes sense that the infections are triggering chronic illness.

The fact that asymptomatic Covid cases can lead to Long Covid IMO probably leads to more people attributing illness to vaccine complications than what could actually occurring, when the underlying problem could be a Covid infection.

This is brutal. The useful lesson of this Administration -- it's often faster to destroy something by empowering insecure incompetents than through active interference. Corrosion is more effective and widespread than interference.
New from me:
Kash Patel is engaged in purges, removal of real accountability, and impunity for loyalists at the FBI.
Researchers told me that these are the exact patterns that create abusive national security organizations under authoritarianism. 🧵

I'm really sorry to all the CDC employees pushing for good public health despite all obstacles. Hang on and go down with the ship, hoping to mitigate harm and continue to produce some good content below the radar, or jump ship? It's an impossible choice.
New from me: I talked to CDC staffers about the new vaccines and autism page. They said things like:

“The best way I can put it is it feels like we’re on a hijacked airplane.”

“I think people are starting to see that we can’t fulfill our mission here.”

Minneapolis should do this & pass actual rent control / stabilization.
Santa Fe is now the first city to tie the minimum wage to the cost of rent.

The Santa Fe City Council voted to raise its minimum wage from $15/hr to $17.50 by 2027 — but they also added another provision.

Future increases will factor in inflation, and the price of housing.

Meanwhile, the American Medical Association is platforming Dr. Oz and silencing all internal dissent by doctors.

They threatened professional retaliation against anyone who protested or showed any signs of disagreement.

At the meeting Oz called Medicaid funding “legalized money-laundering.”

Period.

Public comment ends in 5 days.
If anyone would like to submit a written comment to the ACIP for the upcoming meeting on December 4/5 here is the link. Comments are open until 11/24/25.

I already submitted one regarding Hep B prior to the news about the CDC vaccine website changes from today.

One ~182km x ~211km solar thermal plant could provide all of America’s electricity, including a fully-electrified land transport sector.

100% clean power from just 0.39% of U.S land.

That’s why renewables are constantly under attack from the fossil fuel industry and their paid mouthpieces.
