Look, I don't doubt that there is a type of guy™️ who does things like this for female attention, but that doesn't mean 'performative reading' is actually a thing - it means only that aforementioned type of guy is. Some people actively avoid social media & being glued to their phones 24/7! Imagine!

For a while I played axis in Enlisted because MP40's & Kar98k's are available much sooner in the weapons trees than any of the good Allied guns. I love smashing the huns all the way through Normandy as much as the next man but grinding for hours just for a fucking Bren is never gonna do it for me

I went to a Gold Cup double-header a couple of years ago in Cincy. The first game ended with a huge tunnel brawl right in front of me. The second was delayed after a linesman got hit in the face with a ball & broke his nose 2 minutes into the game - also right in front of me - & had to be replaced.
Feel like “ongoing CONCACAF situation” could describe anything from this to full societal collapse.
We have an ongoing CONCACAF situation in Nicaragua.

There is more than one way to do democracy. Political parties are more for the benefit of the ruling class than anything, as they make it easy to consolidate power in a system that's ostensibly meant to prevent too much consolidation. In particular a 2-party system is a bastardization of democracy.
