Another murder by immigration enforcement in my district.

I am absolutely horrified that federal agents are targeting and executing our residents instead of protecting them.

ICE and CBP must leave Minnesota immediately. Kristi Noem must be impeached. Enough.

Per his colleagues: The victim’s name was apparently Alex Pretti and he was an ICU nurse caring for severely injured veterans at the VA Hospital. He was acting as an observer, filming the raid. Any suggestion that he was there with violence on his mind is horrific gaslighting.

I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.

As tens of thousands across America protest the violence that ICE sows with impunity, federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis today.

ICE terrorizes our cities. ICE puts us all in danger. Abolish ICE.

it is -10 here today. I was supposed to go do a volunteer shift standing outside loading groceries into people’s cars to deliver to families stuck at home. just got a call not to come in because they have too many volunteers already. if you were wondering if the cold would stop us.

I'm astounded at the embrace of the #walkforpeace by my home state of North Carolina. There are almost eight thousand likes on this post for the small town of Highpoint. People are craving meaning and aspiration to something larger them themselves. Our task is to find ways to offer that. w/alt text

This is awe-inspiring. At this point in their Walk for Peace pilgrimage, their feet are swollen and blistered. All of the monks are feeling some level of pain, yet watch what happens when they see someone on the side of the road who is in distress. 🥹🥹🥹🙌🙏🫶👇
