Funny how mad they are about wind turbines how few onshore projects there are yet in the pipeline. Similar to the fear of imaginary crime in London.
Some slides from the leaked Reform candidate training guide we obtained this week. They're very aware of the potential for winning lots of council seats on 30% of the vote. www.londoncentric.media/p/reform-uk-...

Quite funny how the New York Times has a Nazi pundit quota "for balance". What happens when you put journalists in charge of a thing.
This was in the NYT. It's an excerpt from an op-ed by a rabidly anti-immigrant "contributing opinion writer." www.nytimes.com/2025/12/11/o...
Stop printing lies in the newspaper. There need to be consequences for printing lies in the newspaper. He literally says and believes exactly this, several times per day and on camera.

Had a quick check re this very specific (transphobic) formulation "biological male who identifies as a woman" the BBC has started using. It seems to be very recent and, so far, mainly used in articles likely to be read by terfs.

Housing allowance is very obviously one of the main roots of the problem, you can see it in the figures. I know it is long-standing savvy mode for ministers hold the party line by lying but they shouldn't do it imo.
Minister's response to critics of LHA freeze is weak at best:
'The root of this problem is not housing allowance, it is the private rented sector. If we want to move forward... we have to get to the root cause, and that means building more homes and making sure people have got sustainable incomes'

The BBC News website hosts literally hundreds of near-identical pieces of this sort, focusing on supposed local objections to clean energy projects around the country. Any data points that are presented invariably lack comparison or context, and no alternative viewpoint is ever sought.

In this instance, no data or survey is offered to measure said public sentiment. The piece rests wholly on the claims of a single man, Donald Moffat, who does not like the scheme.

How the BBC upholds fossil fuel industry narratives, 09/12/2025: an article about a battery storage project featuring one (1) person objecting to the scheme. The opinion is presented as indicative of popular opposition. No other viewpoint is offered.

Lol, had been wondering why he said that odd thing about young people being his real priority in that interview at the weekend and presumably this is why - Boris Johnson levels of "I vocally endorse the last thing someone told me in a lift"

"At that point action should have been taken to reflect her concerns" is just completely made up, afaict??
Brilliant to see the BBC actively misrepresenting what the Peggie v Fife ruling means in a way which will doubtless encourage and create more illegal discrimination against trans people.

Again, what this journalist is saying is *not at all what the ruling says or means*!

BBC news site has also declared that "it will surely mean big changes to how employers have to act", which doesn't seem at all backed up by the narrow findings in her favour...
It’s maddening that I just heard this tribunal decision covered on BBC News, which led with “Sandie Peggie wins her case,” expanded with “Sandie Peggie secures a partial victory,” then only on listening further did it become clear she actually lost on most of the substantive points she was pursuing.
Decision in the Sandie Peggie case.

She was not directly or indirectly discriminated against, her claim of victimisation fails entirely, her claim of harassment fails largely and her claim against Beth Upton fails entirely. www.judiciary.uk/judgments/sa...
