a) "Once in a generation" wasn't said by the SNP and wasn't their policy - it was a campaign comment by Alex Salmond to encourage people to get out and vote.
b) Reeves comments play straight into UN case - i.e. denial of any right to decide Scotland's future.
c) She's only too aware of polling.
Rachel Reeves has been accused of showing an 'astonishing level of arrogance' after she dismissed a second independence referendum if the SNP win a majority at next year's Holyrood election

So, if I get this right, the UK Labour Gov's EV policy is to penalise people who need to drive longer distances in their electric cars. 3 miles in a city, fine. 25 rural miles to go to the nearest supermarket, hammer them hard. Do these people never think things through properly

Asked how long a generation was, the chancellor said: "Certainly not 12 years."

This is a disgraceful betrayal of workers by Labour.

Exploitation and unfair dismissal are never acceptable, so why should workers not have protections against them from day one?

Every worker deserves safety, dignity and security regardless of how long they have been in a job.

Interesting! What we're seeing with all this new data is that the Brexit damage is only getting worse as time goes on. Companies aren't "adjusting", they're either leaving, downscaling or going under. From manufacturing to services to culture to farming and fishing, the decline is snowballing.

Conservatives yell “socialism” at every initiative designed to help people.

Maybe you've heard the word a few times already today.

But this is nothing more than an old scare tactic.

A functioning government requires pooling resources for the common good. Let me explain.

Never trust #anglo-state parties they lie to retain power
Don't know why the so-called "Labour" party bothet callimg themselves 'Labour" any more. Their resemblance to the values of their founders has disappeared completely and they've become so much more and more a shade of blue that it's getting harder to distinguish between them, Tories and Reform.

No longer can this be called 'A voluntary union' if English politicians keep denying to recognise a legitimate mandate.
If Westminster cannot say what the mechanism is that we can use to leave, Then it is tantamount to a hostage situation.

Tackling child poverty is my driving mission - and thanks to our actions, Scotland is the only part of the UK where child poverty is falling.

Glad that Labour was finally shamed into doing the right thing.

London: 7°C - Pitlochry: -2°C
Yet the person freezing in Pitlochry pays more for electricity — electricity generated in their own town.
Meanwhile, London, which produces almost none, pays less.
This isn’t just unfair. It’s exploitation. And it’s happening in Scotland every single day.

That’s because you are a threat to their 2 party system
First they ignore you.

Then they attack you in the budget.

Off course we have to be grateful to our overlords but let’s look at the figures £820 million for a country but £13 billion for 7 mayors in England nearly 2 billion per region that’s how much they think of us
Apparently Scotland are only getting this money because Anas Sarwar asked her for it Would it not have happened if he hadn't?

And why all the jeering & pointing at the SNP, are they supposed to be grateful to her for giving us some of our own money back?

BREAKING: new emails CONFIRM my reporting that there are TRAINING VIDEOS instructing FBI personnel on how to review the Epstein Files. Plus, a lot more…
The emails reveal the special training given to FBI personnel working on what it called the “Epstein Transparency Project.” In some instances they referred to it as the “Special Redaction Project.” The training entailed PowerPoint slide presentations and video instruction on how to review the files.

The IDF didn't just strike near a hospital. They systematically targeted and destroyed the equipment at the only cancer treatment facility in all of Gaza.

Never trust a liebour politician
Last year Rachel Reeves said that extending the freeze on income tax thresholds hurts working people & takes more money out of their payslips & she wouldn't be doing that because she was keeping her promises made in the manifesto.

So she won't be doing it today either, right?
