Everyone please diligently check your candy this year. I cracked open a snickers bar and not only did I find a copper ingot, but it was of poor quality.

As someone who grew up near Kent State, I feel it necessary to remind people what can happen when you send militarized units to peaceful protests. It may be what they're aiming for, but they forget that public opinion rapidly changes when this sort of thing happens.

Tout this widely. The biggest danger right now is, as @dandrezner.bsky.social said yesterday, pluralistic ignorance, when “people who hold a majority opinion are unaware that it is a majority opinion”. We need to broadcast all the signs that the town halls etc are not a fluke.
