This puts China on track to a major new record for clean power generation added in a year. Year-end capacity additions will do little to affect emissions this year, but will strongly influence emissions next year, especially as new capacity additions are expected to be slower.

Americans Stood Up and Stood Strong for Their Immigrant Neighbors In 2025
Americans refused to give in to the Trump administration’s hate and stepped up to defend immigrant community members. Let’s carry that energy into the new year.

Sinatra hated racists and would have punched Miller in the mouth.

Or as Phil Hartman's impression of Sinatra put it, "I got chunks of guys like you in my stool."
Imagine watching Sinatra, son of Dolly & Antonini born in Genoa & Sicily, respectively, and Martin, son of Gaetano & Angela, born in Montesilvano, Italy & Ohio respectively, (Angela to parents born in Monasterolo, Italy), and crusading against the value of children of immigrants to the U.S.

I have no idea if anyone will find this useful, but there’s software used by a plurality of state legislatures to stream and archive their hearings. There’s no function to save those videos in many cases which makes them inaccessible to some, If you need it because you’re doing policy or whatever:

My straight friend - a CrossFit coach who can deadlift, like, 10,000 lbs - adores dachshunds. Not only does he adore them, he always adopts senior and special needs dachshunds, who he then pushes around in strollers when they're no longer able to walk. He can crush your head with one hand.

It's not just them. There's something very 2025 about people taking pieces of media and twisting them to fit their worldview.
Yup.
I'm telling y'all, these dudes don't know anything.🤡

Frank Sinatra was a vocal anti-racist. He fought racism with his actions, his words, and his money.

Actions:
Refused to stay at segregated hotels. Made sure Black artists got paid fairly.

Words:
Literally wrote an article in Ebony Magazine

It’s day 25 of the ICE occupation of the Twin Cities.

The surge continues. Neighbors were kidnapped today outside grocery stores and going about their regular errands.

We continue to see heavy ICE activity throughout the metro area. Stay alert - we know many kidnappings happen very fast.

They did not leave. Economy did just great. We have revenue to fix stuff.

It’s uncertain whether the proposal will reach the statewide ballot in November, but some billionaires like Peter Thiel and Larry Page may be unwilling to take the risk.
