A beautuful thread about Rob Reiner.
I’m just going to tell the story. Back in 2000 I was volunteering for the Gore campaign when he came along with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Alfre Woodard and Dule Hill to a GOTV event here in MN. He ended up sitting down across from me stuffing his envelopes.

The run that Rob Reiner went on between 1984 and 1992 is one of the most amazing hot streaks any director has ever had. Legendary stuff

Wisconsin-River Falls has the most prolific offense in the country, nearly 600 yards per game. They beat powerhouse Wisconsin-Whitewater 52-14, for the first time since 2001.

Meet 32-yr-old OC Joe Matheson and his Top Gun offense, one of CFB's best stories.

Jacob Misiorowski has eight strikeouts. He's retired 14 of 15 Dodgers hitters he's faced. They will probably just let him keep eating. What an incredible turnaround for the kid.

Also: whatever the Brewers are paying Chris Hook, it isn't enough.

Daniil Medvedev wins the 3rd set 7-6 against Bonzi at the U.S. Open.

Match point saved.

Bonzi served for the match.

One of the most dramatic opening round matches I’ve ever seen.

Meddy started playing his best tennis after the drama with the umpire.

Fired up. 🐙

So to recap:
1. Medvedev is a maniac
2. Chair umpire completely lost control of the match (zero violations given at all is…unreal?)
3. Dozens of people in this US Open crowd should be being escorted out of the arena at this point

Entirely embarrassing situation for everyone but Ben Bonzi
