Can’t stop thinking about this. The Trump administration is essentially extorting hospitals into dropping gender-affirming care—without Medicare or Medicaid they’d go bankrupt. It’s akin to a backdoor ban even for people with private insurance, a proposal that wouldn’t pass Congress.
Under the proposed rule issued by the Trump Administration today, any Medicare- or Medicaid-participating hospital would be barred from providing gender-affirming care to *any child*, even if the care is not paid for by Medicare or Medicaid.

Iron Pineapple's Steam Dumpster Diving series has given me so many good recommendations for less well-known and indie games to play. Excited to try this one out as well.
I featured the demo for Angeline Era in a video about 1.5 years ago (it had the 1 fish, 2 fish... 32 fish boss), but the full game just released and I'm really enjoying it so far. Rare that I play a game as delightfully playful and tightly designed as this.

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

People who think we should all "loosen up" and "have a sense of humor" about fascists chuckling about murder need to seriously re-examine their priorities. Not everything can be viewed through a lens of extreme irony. Sometimes it is necessary to just be earnest and empathetic.
They’re killing people as a twitter joke. It’s depraved. Can’t let yourself lose the capacity to be appalled and disgusted and outraged by this.
