Make-a-Wish Kids are great and so are their families. I profiled a wish kid in Burlington for a story. The kid is now healthy and he is paying it forward.
Make-A-Wish Wisconsin will kick off its 17th Annual Wishful Giving Radio Event, aiming to raise funds to grant wishes to those battling illnesses.

We had the privilege of meeting Vera, a wish kid from Mukwonago, at Blue's Egg: https://onmilwaukee.com/articles/make-a-wish-radio-event-2025

That was the worst play call in that situation.

Most weeks, I am frustrated by some Packers offensive inconsistency.
However, the Packers should be winning by more in this game, simply because Green Bay's defense hasn't done its job.

Yep, again.
Dear Matt, you dumbass,

Runs out of shotgun work only because the defense is expecting pass. On 3rd and 1, the defense is not expecting pass. And you rob the RB of the momentum of an under center run, and Rob is the possibility of play action.

Knock it off, it’s idiotic.

I encouraged a former colleague, and now competitor of mine, to leave X and join Bluesky.
But he doesn't want to leave because it took work to gain so many followers and he doesn't want to start over.
If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

I yearn for the old days when high school football coaches weren't so reliant on technology and actually reported complete details from games.
Just give me a complete scoring summary with full names and basic offensive stats. It is that simple. Coaches did it for years without Hudl and other apps.

Due to all the NOAA cuts, we have less real time data to work with regarding today's storms. There's no profile of the current atmosphere for the entire state of WI.

I would do this but Wisconsin weather lately has been rather eccentric. On the rare moment it is sunny, the winds are too much.
I’ve been doing this thing where I try to spend as much time outside as possible. It helps with depression, if that’s helpful to you. Even sitting on a stoop reading a book or playing on your phone helps in fresh air.

Ok good morning!

And I have no idea what the Browns are doing with the quarterback room.
I helped my parents with yardwork for the last hour only to come in and see that the Browns drafted Sanders right then and there.

It would be objectively hilarious if the Steelers and Browns somehow draft a QB and leave Aaron Rodgers without options.

As will Neenah's Allie Ziebell.
Germantown’s KK Arnold is about to win a national title.

I am not convinced a 10-point lead is enough for UConn. It is South Carolina and the Gamecocks have been behind before.
Halftime: UConn 36, South Carolina 26.

Gamecocks were 1-of-10 from the field to close out the first half. South Carolina shooting just 31% in this game.

Incredible names.
However, granted the Huskies lead by 10 at the half, they are playing South Carolina.
Dawn Staley wouldn't allow the team to surrender.
Lost in the fact that they're two quarters away from a natty, these are some incredible names.

Sean Duffy: "The truth is, transit across America is dangerous. And these liberals -- liberal mayors -- they want everybody out of cars and into trains but they made the trains unsafe so nobody really wants to ride them ... even big men don't want to ride the subway at those times of night."

I absolutely hate the direction professional sports organizations, including MLB, for televising games.
I grew up during the days of free TV (WGN, Cubs; TBS, Braves games, and Channel 24 or 18 (Brewers).
I love the Brewers and Bucks but $20 can be cost-prohibitive for some families.
So how the hell do you watch the brewers in Milwaukee without a cable provider?

Went canvassing for Judge Crawford today. Another canvasser said Musk has paid canvassers on UW campus offering $100 to boys who will pledge to vote for his candidate, and a lot of them are taking the money

Having a 29.7% field goal shooting percentage at halftime hasn't helped UConn either. Kind of reminiscent of Notre Dame's woes earlier today.
UConn averages just under 11 turnovers a game. They're already at 8.

UConn hoops need to get it together.

I'd like to see their uniform nameplates.
The Angels have three Andersons on their roster—Ian, Tim and Tyler—all first-round picks by other clubs.

They can add a fourth Anderson if they call up Shaun from Triple-A. He started Opening Day for Triple-A Salt Lake and threw well in spring training—6 IP, 5 H, 1 BB, 7 SO.

According to Baseball Almanac, Nestor Cortes' four home runs allowed in a single inning is not a record, falling one short of the dubious honor.
Ten other pitchers have allowed four home runs in an inning.
