RIP to the god Bob Burns. One of Hollywood’s greatest gorilla-suit guys. Surely the last living person who was close friends with Glenn Strange. One of the last guys to know Ed Wood during his ‘50s heyday. The god of Monster Kids everywhere.
Farewell to producer, actor, collector, archivist, and curator of the legendary Bob’s Basement, Bob Burns. Beloved by generations of filmmakers and fans, Bob did meaningful work on both sides of the camera and lived a life most of us could only dream of. Rest in peace, sir.
