This is really important. The problem with the Roberts Court is not that they are conservative. It's that they are bad judges.
It's not just liberal judges they're doing this to. They're doing this to plenty of conservative judges too; judges who actually spent weeks and weeks poring over the details and with their arms deep in the guts of thousands of pages of documents and days of testimony.

Those judges are pissed.

Well at least Australia is famously blessed with lots of fresh water and isn't, say, our planet's driest populated continent, with a only thin reliably habitable zone around the coast, and permanent water restrictions even in their biggest city.

Guess what is going to be our class discussion topic for the climate change segment in my Intro Earth Science course?
Zillow’s climate score rollback is a wake-up call: build open, future‑conditions federal flood maps -- gold‑standard, trustworthy data for building codes, mortgages, and our future. Column today: open.substack.com/pub/susanpcr...
Zillow’s climate risk reversal looks like a setback. It’s really a wake‑up call.
When private models sow confusion, it’s a flashing warning sign that Washington needs to fix federal flood maps,

Bad news for Hegseth, it turns out the Pentagon is a big bureaucracy filled with people who got there because they know how to fight bureaucratic battles and they will wait for you to lie about something then leak details about it. Who knew?
A most important question on the Sept. 2 double-tap strike is who had "target engagement authority" (TEA).

Wall Street Journal:

"A Defense Department official ... said Hegseth was the 'target engagement authority,' the key figure who authorized the strike."

Sacks was the third player in the Ackman-Rufo disgusting takedown of Claudine Gay w/cherry-picked, ancient allegations, mock outrage, racist tropes about Black competence, and vibes.

But he’s crashing out over a legit story abt his conflicts.
Like Ackman melting down about his wife’s plagiarism.
David Sacks' response to the NYT story pointing out all his conflict of interests is a masterpiece of half-truths, outright lies, and deliberate evasion.
