"I'M FEELIN' A LITTLE WOOZY, HERE"
if you were gonna get a tramp stamp of a line from a horror movie what would you get?

You haven't lived until you've been in a working men's club, played bingo and heard like 100 pensioners getting excited when they call number 69

A tiny bit of shameless self-promotion because the gifting season is creeping up on us. If you’re after something delicious, handcrafted, and ethical, my chocolate boxes, bars, and treats make really lovely gifts. Treat yourself, treat someone else, or both, I won’t judge! Reshares appreciated! 🍫✨

I've got a £2000 fundraising goal for @swansongproject.bsky.social who enable people facing death to write & record their own song. To create something unique & permanent for yourself & those you leave behind. Please give us a few bucks or a repost or both.

Can't believe you're all out there celebrating international men when it's far more sustainable and ethical to celebrate local, homegrown, seasonal men

The Master System was my first games console and it was ace. I almost preferred the MS version of Sonic over the Mega Drive one (almost, but not quite)

As opposed to doing what with their children??

I was *this* close to bouncing off Kingdom Come Deliverance II & I'm so glad I persevered. I can hold my own in a fight, have Pebbles to ride about on, defeated Tomcat at last & rescuing Mutt melted my heart. That dog will eat better than me (he's having smoked venison I made while I eat raw wolf)

Watched Bring Her Back tonight- a great film with a pretty bleak ending

I love a Christmas horror film! Violent Night, Terrifier 3, Anna and the Apocalypse and Gremlins all tick my boxes for stupidity/gore/festiveness/fun
Too soon to be talking about Christmas horror films? Nah.Here are my favourites:

- Terrifier 3 (2024)
- Black Christmas (aka Stranger in the House 1974)
- Christmas Evil (aka You Better Watch Out 1980)
- The Day of the Beast (el dia de la bestia 1995)
- Don’t Open til Christmas (1984)

Forgot Astronoid had a new record out, so having a listen- 1st 3 tracks are great so far, but Stargod (the song) really has an 80s synth influence. It's like they've gone hair-blackgaze. And I think I like it haha

Yawns are weird. You're tired? Why don't you open your mouth really big about it? What's that? You're not tired, but you saw someone else open their mouth big? Well, guess what.

A hometown fess! (This isn't me, I lived in Birchills in Walsall & only ever went through Bentley on the bus).

Also, with a mother called Dot and kids called Tony and Alan and vandalising a Cortina, are we sure this isn't from 1981, not 91?
To Dot. Mother of Alan, Tony and several others who lived in Bentley Walsall. No idea if you're alive but in 1991 when I was 7 I snapped the number plate on your Ford Cortina. You knew it was me but couldn't prove it. This is my confession.

Had a fun old time at Damnation, so we've already grabbed tickets for the princely sum of like £32 quid for both (and no more installments until after Christmas!)

The line ups are always ace, no doubt they'll smash it again next year!
Come next year, and help top the most successful Damnation to date

Tickets on sale for 2026 at 2025 prices, reserve your place for the weekend now by paying just the booking fee

This kind of thing, along with (dynamic) ticket pricing, etc., was the reason FIFA chose the United States as a World Cup host. Elements of the US sporting experience allow it to exploit fans. Wrote about it here for the Morning Star. morningstaronline.co.uk/article/fifa...
FIFA is selling parking spots near 2026 World Cup stadiums for between $75 & $175 per spot & per gameday.

A 2026 parking pass alone, at $75 in the group stage, costs more than a Category 3 ticket to any group match at the 2022 World Cup, which was $69.

FIFA’s next 2026 World Cup cash cow: Exorbitant parking prices
If you're paying to park at 2026 World Cup matches it'll cost you more than some match tickets at previous editions of the tournament

Damnation day 2 was fucking ace- Hidden Mothers, Conjurer bit of Pig Destroyer, Psychonaut, Author & Punisher, Spectral Wound, Amenra and finally got to see Napalm Death- but the highlight were Coilguns, they were fucking nuts, giving At The Drive In but vicious. Lovely stuff.

Unreal first day at Damnation. Cried to Overhead, the Albatross, Castle Rat are ridiculous (complimentary), Meryl Streek was aggy as ever, Orbit Culture crushed, Perturbator was a party, Garea were brilliant- but fuck me, Deafheaven were TRANSCENDANT. Unreal band.
