What was it I was doing that made me forget what I was doing?
I was in Screwfix the other day, and the sales bod addressed me, not as “mate” or as “sir” (either would have been fine), but as “gent”.
As in “Is there anything else you need today, gent?”
Anyone else seen this in the wild?
