I am so ready for this weather to GTFO. In 12 years of doing it my bike commute has never been more unpleasant. Frigid air and steady headwinds have made it slog that take double normal time. Also our home gas heat bill is going to be 3-4x a typical December.

I kinda love my body’s reaction to COVID boosters. Its like clockwork. ~12 hours of mild fever, little headache, slightly achy. Then I feel great.
Being just a bit sick, but knowing you’ll be fine in a few hours is kinda cute.

I've been pretty lucky w.r.t. to navigating US healthcare thus far.
However my use of a GLP-1 for weight loss has now run head-long into the push-back from insurance and PBMs. (I'll be fine)
Its almost impressive how perfectly the system is designed to maximally extra money from consumers.
