a secret about me is that I'm obsessed with adaptations of & riffs on Beauty and the Beast. I dug up the '78 Czech adaptation on youtube and have become a little obsessed with it - it's a darker film than Cocteau's, very sensual, opulent, gothic. blends in a bit of Psyche & Eros. loved it.
