Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

I continue to be very suspicious of people who want others to publicly detail every aspect and complete history of any activism, volunteer work, etc they engage in. It's demanding some kind of performance and I don't know what they get out of it but it's very sus.

But some work is best done offline, in person, without being livestreamed. It's okay to work within your community, you don't own anyone the details.

If someone's trying to guilt you into some kind of public performance of your activism, pause and question why--what they gain from it. Maybe they're a troll. Maybe they're a fed! Maybe they're a communal narcissist looking to laud their own sainthood over everyone. Who knows.
