It's great that reporting on the double tap has spotlighted the abject criminality of this Administration.

But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants.

The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.

Colonialism still shapes our present. Colonial states need to make reparations for their harms.

Since I haven’t seen anyone mention this: When the U.S. commits war crimes it puts our troops in danger also, as it gives a green light to other countries that they can do the same to us

None of the alleged drug boats that were destroyed recently by the US Navy in the Caribbean or Western Pacific had anywhere near enough fuel capacity to have reached the United States.

Absolutely right
As we watch the Christmas appeals on TV for homeless charities, a political leader talking about the issue is very welcome. In the 6th largest economy nobody should live on the streets.

Remember: Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.

Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this.

Do not.

Will someone ever put that on a fucking bus, with Farage’s gurning face next to it, and drive it up and down the country?
Brexit costs the government around £90bn.

Without Brexit we could have tax cuts and spending increases. We would have hope & optimism, not gloom & despair.

Brexit harms the British people, especially the poor & vulnerable. No politician can support Brexit and claim to care for ordinary people.

Revealed: MPs rack up huge rent expenses while pushing through cuts to benefits
MPs are allowed to rent a second home, but while they are simultaneously cutting benefits for the vulnerable, the cost feels hard to swallow.

The Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch admitted to breaking into Baroness Harman's website, where she wrote pro-Conservative lines as if she was the Labour peer.

Meanwhile she calls for a Labour Minister to resign.

Actually most of them, but always with limits.

Labour allow Co-operative and (I think) SDLP
The Tories have a list I forget the criteria for
The LibDems disallow any party that contests elections against the LibDems or counter to party values.
The Greens allow duel E&W and Scot membership IIRC.
Which other parties allow dual membership?

We needed a shift in power. We got paper over cracks.

Scrapping the two-child cap is the bare minimum. Until we tax capital like work, nothing changes.

Labour is just managing decline better than the Tories.

Great point
"Starmer says scrapping two-child benefit cap was ‘long-standing ambition’"

He literally stripped the whip from 7 of his own MPs just last year for daring to stand up to him not ending it then.

Does he think we're all stupid or what? And why isn't the media coverage mentioning that recent context?
