jack daniels can be classified as either bourbon or whiskey, since bourbon and whiskey are simply different names for identical products

My postal worker friends and I personally identified and filtered trillions of pieces of Dilbert art out of the mailstream and then used them to burn Republican ballots....which cost Trump the 2020 election and increased global warming on purpose

I am an atheist but I have a reasonably robust argument that he is the antichrist. However, I really think we need to convince him to give a speech atop Mount Zaphon just to be sure.
Honestly, at some point the burden of proof is on atheists that Trump is not the antichrist.
it's incredible how if you put this entire dialog into the Left Behind series, it would basically work, but instead it's just IRL MN

If you follow white supremacists and christian nationalists enough, you're guaranteed to see a pretty weird amount of hate for Episcopalians eventually. The former hate them for supporting civil rights, the latter hate them for being (relatively) normal about LGBTQ people.
It would not surprise me if ICE ends up killing Episcopalian clergy, sadly. Episcopalian ministers go pretty hard in the paint for civil rights.

The story of Jonathan Daniels, an Episcopalian seminary student, pushing Ruby Sayles out of the way of a KKK shotgun blast in Alabama comes to mind.
At last night’s candlelight vigil for Renee Nicole Good, Bishop Rob Hirschfeld of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire announced he had asked the clergy of the diocese to get their affairs in order and to make sure they have their wills written ...,

Former Episcopalian here. I left the church more out of my personal agnosticism than any fault of the church itself, and damn if they don't come close to luring me back to the pews sometimes.

It's an eternal mystery how anglo-catholicism mixed with american protestantism created dudes this cool

Amount of blood US has expended defending Greenland: zero. Amount of blood Denmark has expended defending the US: 43 Danish soldiers gave their lives in Afghanistan, responding to a US appeal under article 5 of NATO. Ogles has no idea about any of this, because he's an incompetent buffoon.
Ogles: "It's important that we have a stake in Greenland, that they are quite frankly a protectorate of the US. They've been in relationship with Denmark - that needs to end. We've spilled more blood protecting Greenland than the Danes... we are the dominant predator force in the Western Hemisphere"

if you're a Democratic leader in a blue state you're often Democrat by default rather than conviction *and* you often came up through dysfunctional, long-standing institutions. If you're in a red state you're much more likely to be a fighter and reformer.
