We bought into the "post scarcity" narrative because digital tech feels so magic and ethereal but we need to get back to an understanding of the material costs and effects of those systems. They are not very post-scarce in reality.

I mean, seriously. Never trust billionaires. @govpritzker.illinois.gov talks a big game about defending his people, but it's his police doing this. Same thing with @governor.ca.gov in LA. It's their police beating protesters and protecting ICE, while pretending to be against Trump.
Faith leaders and peaceful protesters are being subjected to violence and abuse, including the violent arrest of at least one priest by Illinois State Police, Broadview Police Department, and Cook County Sheriffs at the Broadview ICE Detention Center. (November 14, 2025)

As far as I know, George Hornedo is not associated with Central Indianapolis DSA. I don't know why he's pretending to attend our meetings and funneling DSA contact through his campaign.
