Ted Cruz and I unequivocally agree that suspending Jimmy Kimmel due to pressure by the government is an attack on free speech. When Ted Cruz and I are somehow on the same side opposing you, it's a pretty clear sign that you've never been more in the wrong.

There is a lot of demand for digital privacy and security advice out there right now and lots of people are giving advice and writing guides. I beg them to do a few things:

1. Be explicit about the threat model your advice is meant for.

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge?

It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

The scene in every alien movie where the aliens take over all the TVs by overriding broadcast signals is impossible in 2025 when everything is streaming. The aliens would be all, shit all the TVs run different HTML5 app platforms and we need to root all of them at once

For the first time in decades, Fresno is finally going to take a serious look at light rail
Is one of America’s most car-centric cities ready to go back to the future? Fresno, whose early neighborhoods were shaped by streetcars, is ready to reboot its relationship with rail. Caltrans officials greenlit a $700,000 grant this month for regional transportation planners to study whether a light rail system for the Fresno-Clovis metro makes sense. The Fresno Council of Governments – the region’s transportation planning body – is exploring light rail in response to community feedback, according to Deputy Director Paul Herman, in an email to Fresnoland.
