It's so fucking convenient that they get to "fear for their lives" anytime they want to absolve themselves of anything and when we actually fear for our lives because of them and do anything a scared person would do it's justification for our death.

I'm over not having kids out of fear of the climate crisis.
I dread convincing my kid not to work on Thanksgiving, giving them the confidence to advocate for their labor, convincing them to value arts & humanities in a world that won't.
I also feel unready for the task of being a trans parent.
