For me, it's The Strange Case Files of Yakushiji Ryouko. I guess I think of it as X-Files, except Scully is an elite ojousama civil servant, and Mulder is her long-suffering assistant. Based on light novels, the anime is somewhat low budget, but it has a lot of charm for me.

Good games use their story to support the gameplay and use their gameplay to support the story. It's an upward spiraling loop.
Also, most people aren't obsessed with abstract gameplay mechanics (and the few people who are obsessed are probably game devs). You need story to get people to care.

Spent all of yesterday fixing my wife's computer, and I'm still exhausted today with a sore throat. On the plus side, it's up and running again and will hopefully be far more stable. I also got the chance to deep clean it, even with chassis filters, years of dust and cat hair can add up.

Eric W Schwartz's dislike for Windows 3.1 shines through Sabrina here in one of his artworks from 1994 from an Archive CD. And given my own experience trying to wrap my head around 3.11 recently (It's so much clunkier than Amiga Workbench and macOS from the time), I can definitely understand it!
