Also, if he had an editor, they would've told him this should've been the second post mixed with the stuff about being a political operative while also being a journalist. This is the gossip most sickos wanted to read.

Seems like a weird spot to have it. The reason I knew it wasn't anywhere near the embassy is when dcist hired that Chavista as editor and the protesters against the regime refused to speak to her. She has links to the regime's security services so they chased her off.

Out of curiosity, what video editor are you using? I've been looking for a new one since cancelling my Adobe subscription.

On another note, if there’s been a better indie pop song this year about a former fashion editor of the Boston Globe buying lottery tickets, I haven’t heard it open.spotify.com/track/26EqVy...

Ok, animations are going great for the chaser/Stalker, I just need to finish a tiny bit more tomorrow.

ALSO, I'm testing out a new editor for making videos to my YouTube channel. hopefully it works well

Oh no, I hadn't even realized "copy editor dude" was a type! Most of my copy editor friends are women

BTW the dedication card at the end of tonight's #Survivor49 episode was for Sean Foley. He was an editor since the very beginning of the show, and worked specifically on the main titles for years: parade.com/tv/survivor-...

The Emmy nominee was with the CBS reality show from the very beginning, and also played a massive role in the 'Naked and Afraid' franchise.

What was the gag in the masthead of the print edition.... "We do not publish letters to the editor; this is a one-way means of communication." Something like that, along with a solitication for advertorials.

#ShakeYourCLZ Elephantmen.
Genetically engineered human-animal slave-soldiers integrating into society post-war.

This book was a wild ride, crazy (and excellent) design stuff, flip-issues, back matter. That's in addition to the great art.

I regret that I am the exact right age to have worked with some real classic Copy Editor Dudes, rejected 85% of their mores, but fiercely maintained loyalty to a random 15%.
Big week for people maintaining the distinction between font and typeface

I use voice to text more than half the time and often am too occupied/do not care enough to edit, then I notice a clanger after sending. I am an editor by training and by trade. I just call it being off the clock. It's clear when it's just a typo. You're good.

Unrelated to my lore, the inclusion of autism as a *disease* (wtf?) that should be prevented or cured is so unnecessary and cheapens an otherwise interesting article. Yeah, that is an actual MAHA talking point, David. Straying into conspiracyland Overall, this needed a better editor. @wired.com

I hate this new era we live in where nobody and nothing has an editor. Every 90 minute movie becomes a 10 hour streaming series and every 1500 word story becomes…Whatever the fuck this is.

Battle Network 1 completed again. Do yourself a favor, either just play the game casually, or if you go for full completion, cheat and just use a save editor to give yourself all the chips because fuck this game's RNG blows.

It feels like my PC is starting to become a Potato...

Normally in the past, adding this many videos to the video editor takes less than 10 minutes but...it's been 2 hours and not even close to half have been copied..

I would've finished a few as well since I only do minor additions and edits... 🤔
