I’m proud to call Jennie Pu a friend. She helped get the NJ Freedom to Read Act across the finish line. We sat side by side when we testified before the NJ Assembly Education Committee, which you can see in @thelibrariansfilm.bsky.social. Jennie’s the REAL joyful warrior!

McGoohan was completely emotionally and physically fucked by the strain by this (is this episode genius or desperate is a legitimate debate), so, as writer/director, he sits down at the start of the episode and just watches everyone else do their thing till the last ten minutes.

This year I wrote a novel, titled Sheam.

It's in (sort of) three parts, which I like to describe as:
1. Hang on, am I a woman?
2. Hold up, am I worthy of love? Gay love?
3. Wait a sec, can my polycule overthrow the government?

It's done and you can read it here:

To keep the good times rolling this morning, I am at an assembly to hear my son's elementary school band and we all stood for the anthem and when we sat back down the guy directly in front of me was showing like FOUR INCHES of ass crack. So I guess that's my view for the next hour. #blessed

On 8th Nov 2019 Chow Tsz-lok died, on the 4th of Nov he "fell" from the 3rd level of a parking garage in Hong Kong after police fired tear gas nearby & maybe were chasing him.

To this day Hong Kongers mark his death with small remembrances. Photos from @razvenhk.bsky.social

well this just reminds me of how NJ Dems didn't run a real campaign against the Assembly Minority Leader until after the position had transferred from a Biden+18/Harris+12 district, where it had sat for a decade, to a Trump+3/Trump+10 district, and now I'm annoyed again
And running against the Assembly Minority leader is for the first time running a real campaign with signs and lit potentially because of this dude!

My first 45 after seeing fellow students in a band called The Electrocutioners playing this tune, and the flip "Perfidia," at a school assembly. I sat stunned at the magic of electric guitars sounding like glorious buzzsaws from tiny amps that roared to my 12-year-old ears like Marshalls.

The whole term “right wing” comes from the French Revolution where the monarchists and supporters of the aristocracy sat on the right side of the General Assembly. They’ve been like this for more than two centuries.
The thing is that conservatives DO love having a king. That was like a whole bit in Sideshow Bob Roberts

It really is bizarre to me that every single member of GOP House leadership & the admin has decided their coordinated talking point this week is that the No Kings demonstrations this Sat are essentially acts of domestic terrorism. Are they that afraid of free & peaceful assembly?

Buying a coffee on a train now means buying a coffee self-assembly kit, leaving you with all this crap to deal with (note. I take it black, so milk carton detritus is missing).

I was sat at a table, but imagine this nonsense in a seat using a pull-down shelf.
