My favorite elective in undergrad was an outstanding poli-sci course on politics and media. It was near the birth of Fox News and the syllabus very carefully laid out the conservative thrust of that myth and looked at Ann Coulter etc and made us debunk their claims or read their (awful) citations.

I do not think it's a coincidence that the Court is dipping their toes into ruling against Trump as his popularity is collapsing. I think they are a fundamentally political body who follows the lead of politics and, in the case of the majority at the moment, whatever Fox News is saying

The Republican Party shift into hyper reactionary politics was a conscious decision made by prominent figures after the re-election of Barack Obama in 2012 when he defeated Mitt Romney.

An irony is that major network news has higher levels of trust than other sources. Asking people if they trust “the media” in an era of fragmentation is a gross overgeneralization. Turning CBS into Fox Lite undermines trust, but they want to placate conservatives.

Quantify ❝growth❞ where she asserts it Use audience metrics, event attendance trends, donation flows, or survey data, rather than rhetorical certainty. Use the best possible counterargument For example: cite instances where Vance has told extremists to get lost —if they exist— and explain why that’s insufficient given his broader boundary-setting. Grant: I really get my news from all over the place, social media, Twitter. And then other than that, I tend to stick to Fox News. Ethan: X or independent journalism. . . . And I like to watch The Five on Fox during dinner time. Dawson: Reels sends me news. Ground News, which has a lot of different resources from different ends of the spectrum. I also listen to podcasts like The Morning Wire, which I think maybe like The Daily Wire does. And sometimes the local channels.
