Like his mother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Charles believes that to be a monarch is a gift and responsibility from God, and that to be a monarch is to be a servant of people who glorifies God.
Thank you for sharing this Mr. President. King Charles constantly surprises me and often in good ways. As we must keep the faith, I am glad he feels the same and that he feels such personal responsibility for it.

2) there's an entire subculture that glorifies them and everything they stand for that's been allowed to run rampant

Japan now has its first female prime minister. I wish I could celebrate this historic moment, but ick. She’s a right-wing nationalist who denies Japanese war crimes and visits the Yasukuni Shrine, which glorifies war criminals. Feels like Kari Lake as first female POTUS.
