Reminded - just reading of author Patricia Highsmith who became so enamored of snails she would reportedly carry a 100 in her purse (with lettuce) to gatherings, and bypassed import restrictions, Engl>France, by smuggling 6-7 at a time under each breast

Its Thursday, you know what that means. Thats right its National Snail Day. Did you know snails whose shells curve left are rare and can only mate with other "lefty" snails? Jeremy, a lefty snail studied by the University of Nottingham, had 226 offspring - all were "righty" snails. #NationalSnailDay
