#paxil
I’m off my Paxil because we got to spend some time with family our age without parents and expectations around us and we extended our stay two days so the emotions have been a lot but— I’m glad I get to feel them here.

Thanks for caring for me.

Just looked at your feed.

No word of a lie, injuring my hand a decade ago made me finally listen to my doctor and take Paxil for my cPTSD.

Fibre arts were my method of coping (well, that + therapy.)

Now, when well enough, I do them for joy.

Wishing you speedy healing!

I know in vague terms what you're talking about, but literally don't know what's supposed to rhyme with paxil.
January 30, 2026 at 11:56 PM
now we just need to light candles that literally nothing happens with the thing that rhymes with boulder paxil 🕯️🧘🏻‍♀️🕯️

The side effects of stopping Paxil are also bad. I was stupidly lucky that I figured out wtf was happening and was able to keep a grip on things while driving a 3/4ton pickup in Chicago traffic... Always talk to your doc before changing how you take your meds, kids!

This is me with Paxil. I hate the brain zaps so much!
January 30, 2026 at 12:04 AM
I want to stop taking paxil not because I'm not depressed anymore (low-key I still am) but I've been taking this piece of shit medicine for far too fucking long.

Paxil: The Antidepressant That Traps You! #shorts
Paxil, also known as paroxetine, is a widely prescribed antidepressant, but many people are not warned about how difficult it can be to stop. This video explores why Paxil is linked to strong withdrawal symptoms, emotional numbing, and long-term dependence for some users. We discuss how it works in the brain, why coming off can feel overwhelming, and why informed, doctor guided decisions matter before starting or stopping any antidepressant. I see a psych next month for a heftier evaluation! But Paxil has been improving my mood and sleep
January 28, 2026 at 2:27 PM
A new feeling for me. Cymbalta really helped to calm my anxiety, until it didn't. I've tried a couple other meds that just made me feel sick. Paxil seems to be doing something? I don't wanna get too hopeful

Psych visit went well!

Starting on Prozac, hope to eventually be off my Paxil (which I’ve been on since I was a kid).

She’s like “I think we need to get your anxiety under control.”

No shit lady 😂
January 27, 2026 at 5:49 PM
Definitely. I've tried Paxil, Lexapro, and Wellbutrin.
January 27, 2026 at 5:09 PM
For decades I’ve suffered from anxiety and depression. I’m pretty stable, however. Just some Wellbutrin daily. Before that Paxil until it stopped working for me. I can’t imagine what people with severe DSM illnesses like Bipolar or schizophrenia go through. I hope Kanye West gets the help he needs.

I had big aversion to eating after my abdominal surgery for cancer, the dr put me on a SSRI specifically to make appetite, because there are brain chemicals that make you want to eat. The first one was called Lexapro and I did badly on it (got very aggressive) but the 2nd one, Paxil, has worked well

My eternal thanks to my therapist and the psychiatrist who first prescribed me Paxil
January 20, 2026 at 11:42 PM
Paxil made me not feel. It was terrible. That's what narcotics are for.
January 19, 2026 at 8:25 PM
Got Social Anxiety Disorder? Forget Paxil and Zoloft.
Try 800 mg of Magnesium Glycinate and thank me later.
January 17, 2026 at 2:53 AM
found and took a Paxil after a while of not being on it and puked. neat. oops.

dammit.

(I've been at a number of startups with a number of types of chaos, including an acquisition, an IPO, having to layoff my team, and getting laid off myself. Whee. I'll be honest, my coping strategies have included Paxil and writing a cathartic fantasy novel!)

Unmasking SSRI Antidepressant Dangers: The Hidden Link to Mass Violence
In today's episode we're uncovering the disturbing evidence linking SSRIs to extreme violence and mass shootings. We dive into the sources to explore how these drugs can cause akathisia—a state of severe restlessness that can trigger out-of-character psychoses and violent acts. You’ll learn about clinical trials hidden by manufacturers and the decades-long struggle to include black-box warnings. We discuss tragic cases where psychiatric medications allegedly turned normal individuals into violent offenders. Is the medical establishment ignoring a public safety crisis? Join us as we challenge the mainstream narrative on drug safety. - References: https://www.midwesternmedic.com/p/the-decades-of-evidence-that-ssri SUPPORT FOODNOURISH DEEP DIVES Become a supporter for just 2€ per month.
