This is pretty cool... we sent off our Roman iron ring with lion-engraved intaglio to be micro-CT scanned by some Exeter university students.

We can now virtually slice the ring in any orientation to see internal corrosion and the intaglio itself (from any angle).

Resolution is... 6 microns!! 😮😎
