She posted about Charlie Kirk's death. Within eight hours, she was fired

Alexandra is one of many people who lost their jobs for posting about the conservative influencer's death. She described the online mob that got her fired as "state-sponsored censorship."

And it's not just for Palestinians, as a privileged white westerner, do this for all BIPOC — all oppressed peoples you know, or are friends with. This is what actual solidarity is about. And while doing this, also remember to defend their right to armed resistance.

If you live in the west, and you're a westerner, especially a white one, and you have Palestinian friends, partners, or colleagues, please, learn to protect them. Sit down with them and ask them how best you can help them feel safe, and how to ensure you're not contributing to them feeling unsafe.

I think letting children make books together gets them thinking in a lot of ways that inevitably lead to increased media literacy. Telling stories helps you to recognise stories elsewhere. Who is telling them? How are they being told? And why are they being told this way?

My first thought was “wow I hope this guy didn’t give out his name because he could absolutely be charged” and yup, he is correct to stay anonymous.

This man’s account is shocking. His neighbors’ situation is shocking. The entire Chicago raid is shocking.

On the other side was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for his help.
"I wasn't planning on letting her stay, but I didn't know what the hell was going on," the man said of his Venezuelan migrant neighbors. But he quickly relented. The little girl was inconsolable and hid under his bed.
"I didn't want them to take her," said the man, who didn't want to be named because he fears he'll be targeted by federal authorities for his actions.
"I gave her my bedroom, and I just told her,
'Just stay there. Don't open, don't, shh, just stay quiet," he recalled telling the mom and daughter as he choked back tears.

i’ve seen enough. and by that i mean lots of evidence. If you’re running an account that uses phrases like “antifascist,” or anything in the vicinity, the FBI, the NYPD, it doesn’t really matter, it’s all the same thing now, you’re on a watchlist.
