Spent many years exploring some of the highways and many of the byways in West Yorkshire and further afield, on a bike. To see what I could see.

OK, I’m not pulling any punches on this one as the consequences are just way too big.

In the history of colossally stupid & historically self-destructive political choices, giving power to Nigel Farage in the UK could be comparable to giving Trump power in the United States.

Please don’t do it.

Exciting news 🤗 Camden could get it's first 'cyclops' (Dutch style junction)

Such innovation for cycle safety will be hard won though, so do please take time to express your support in the survey:

I don't understand where @rentouljohn.bsky.social gets the idea the left want small boats to arrive. We don't. We want safe routes for Asylum.

Small boats are directly the result of the conservative policy of blocking any safe route for Asylum.
I’d start with things like e.g. not ripping off Enoch Powell speeches or fighting tooth and nail for the unlimited right of foreign football fash to kick in heads on British streets, and work out from there

This inconsiderate genius blocked footpath and cycle lane on the short stretch between St Benildus school and Narnia creche, leaving a passenger on board.

If Labour is continuing to lose votes, just got 11% in a by-election in a seat they've held for 100 years and in a few recent polls is equal to or just behind the Greens maybe we should stop suggesting they're the only thing that can defeat Reform.

I explain why we should ban cigarette filters, which are pure "healthwashing", rather "greenwashing" option of banning plastic ones in favour of "biodegradable" ones, which are still hugely polluting.

Let's not let #BigTobacco get away with this!

Ban the Butt: Why it’s time to stub out cigarette filters for good
Cigarettes make up around two-thirds of all litter, despite only 12% of people smoking. What steps need to be taken to protect the planet?

All the people who voted in Reform because they wanted big government efficiencies,
and more money to be spent on pot holes and improving local services will no doubt be thrilled that their new council is spending £75,000 on, er, flags instead. Absolute clown show. 🤡

There is a moment at this time of year when the word ‘apricity’ really comes into view. For those who don’t know it, it was recorded only once, in 1623, before slipping out of view. Apricity is the warmth of the sun on a chilly day.
Even MORE surprised that he DARE ask such a question 😡
