There were some interesting valid comments on the dangers of advertising, negatively influencing diet and nutrition.
Then in the ad break, we had Avonmore pushing their Vitamin D milk, because we can't be arsed getting out in daylight.
Slight hypocrisy....

If only there was a smidgen of available space in their driveway, I guess this Audi driver wouldn't have been 'forced' to park on the footpath - Blackglen Road

Hi Donna, did they ever come back to you with an update on why the separators were removed from Bridge St please? It's fairly dangerous coming down the hill there.

It brings to 13 the number of people killed while cycling on Irish roads this year, already the highest death toll since 2017 (when 14 were killed) and we still have another three months to go.

It also ignores the fact that according to multiple studies and datasets(including the DoT’s own data), statistically you are far more likely to suffocate a catastrophic brain injury per mile walked or in a car than you are on a bike.

Anyone still on X: you should REALLY consider leaving.

It's like subscribing, and thereby lending support, to a daily version of Hitler's 'Mein Kampf', overflowing with extremely dangerous racist, nazi, bile.

Is that REALLY what you want?

The fact that our so-called ‘Minister for Climate’ is saying this, at this point, tells you all you need to know about our government.

This thing is going to hit us like an all-out war and they still think they can treat it as a Tidy Towns initiative.
Minister for Climate Darragh O’Brien: we can grow Dublin Airport ‘sustainably’ from 36m to 60m passengers.
Mary Wilson: What about climate, have you run the numbers on emissions?
Minister: No question there will be an increase, SAF exists, planes more technologically advanced now…
