What if Superman is out there desperately trying to save us but he can't because we took down all the phone booths

I've built a socioeconomic system that depends on everyone to do useful work and act ethically except the people at the top, who get unimaginable rewards for being antisocial frauds and criminals. And I think it will stand the test of time
"I have no idea what's going on and I don't particularly care" is the weirdest leadership strategy I've ever seen and he's COMMITTED to it

It underscores the total moral turpitude of our political class into which this country has descended. A complete abandonment of the needs of the many for the continued aggrandizement and lust for eternal wealth of the few.

This is exactly the point. US is a very wealthy country, especially for a privileged few.We could feed, house and provide health insurance to everyone, while still allowing those privileged few to remain obscenely wealthy. Their refusal to share even a small amount of their wealth is the real story.

The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.

People aren't struggling, they are experimenting with frugality! 🧑‍🔬🔬🧪
And how dare they! Won't they think of the companies they are hurting?!
There's your working class hero, doing great things for the working class as usual 👍

One in eight Americans relying on SNAP is a wild number. We are not good at being a livable country, friends.
While the current government shutdown is only the second-longest in history, November 2025 is set to be the first time the USDA has declined to issue SNAP benefits — which one in eight Americans rely on to pay for groceries — during a shutdown.

Clearly a strong, vibrant, fully cognizant man in the prime of his life who has no debilitating physical or mental conditions. His hair is also completely normal and looks nothing like the collapsing outer later of a skein of thin polyester thread that's been emptied from the middle

The ex-prosecutor also said this:

“I have a lot of close contacts in law enforcement, and almost to a person, none of them support these actions. As a lawyer, someone who adamantly believes in the rule of law, watching it in open sight in front of my house just be completely eroded…it’s upsetting.”

Notice how fast the billionaire stepped up to fund the military, but no one is stepping up to fund SNAP?

No one will step up to fight for a living wage, healthcare, disability supports or education.

They want to keep us down because it benefits them.

The billionaires will always stick together.
He does seem like such a great guy. He also clearly LOVES performing -- what a gift for us that he still wants to get out on the road and perform for 3 hours a night!
Paul sounded fantastic all night, the arena was jam packed, ridiculous pyrotechnics on Live and Let Die. I think my very favorite part was when he did Something, started on the ukulele, switched to the guitar, all set to photos of George. And he brought a very cute couple up on stage to get engaged!
Looks like a full house at the Alamodome from my very, very high perch
