New — Video shared with me shows ICE officers in DC detaining a man on Friday.

Bystander filming asks man for his name. ICE agent lies and says he’s not allowed to speak to him “by law” and another says “We’ve arrested American citizens for being too close…If he gets any closer, put him in cuffs.”

The indictment of Letitia James should alarm us all.

It was meant to send a message: If you cross Trump, you could be next.

Timeline cleanse
came across tiny postman's gardens in old London where there is a wall of plaques, set up in 1900, for ordinary people who sacrificed themselves to save others...

Beautiful small garden and beautiful tributes

Today’s real challenge: getting this vintage plate printing evenly for the inside of the cards.
A vintage metal-on wood printing plate inscribed with the words Christmas Greetings, in a printing chase with spacing and quoins, next to a carbon paper print from the plate. The print is very faint / unreadable at the top and dark at the bottom.

Marvellous Minoan clay vessels made by creative potters on the island of Crete during the Aegean Bronze Age around 3,500 years ago! 🤩

From the Aegean Bronze Age, Minoan clay vessels with black handpainted decoration.on a pale biscuity-coloured slip

Top left - clay flask decorated in Minoan ‘Marine Style’’ with an octopus with tentacles writhing around the body of the vase. Additional motifs such as seaweed and rocks represent the seabed. From Palaikastro, 1500-1450 BC

Top right - clay rhyton in the shape of a bull’s head. A rhyton is a type of pouring vessel used for filling cups or making liquid offerings. There is a pouring hole at the bull’s mouth. From Knossos Little Palace, 1450-1375 BC

Bottom left - Nautilus vessel - clay rhyton depicting the seabed with nautili, corals and seaweed. From Phaistos Palace, 1500-1450 BC

Bottom right - Basket shaped rhyton decorated with double-axe motif. There is a small pouring hole in one of the bottom corners. From Pseira, 1500-1450 BC

We are sorry to hear you have failed to pass your examination, and can only advise you to try again. We do not at all agree with your idea that “the only thing that can be done for you is to run away to London and try to get on the stage” nor do we see how that would help you.

So important. They fired people working on Ebola in Africa tonight. The people who track and investigate and report on disease outbreaks. The CDC prior to the first Trump administration was the global gold standard... but the ideologues can't stand it.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.

So what exactly are autistic needs?

This is probably the most confusing aspect of autism.

I think the reason this confuses so many people (even autistic people) is that autistic needs are literally just human needs.

Very interesting discussion on RTÉ radio one with Philip Boucher Hayes now about which agency does what in relation to water, fish, the environment. “That’s not our role” seems to be most of the answers #blackwaterfishkill

Got to see the first two episodes of the Leonard and Hungry Paul TV show in a small cinema with the crew and cast. With genuine and heartfelt sincerity, I loved it. I feel so grateful to everyone who worked on it.

I hope you all love it as much as I do (but I think you will).

BREAKING: ICE agents just abducted a press camera operator in Chicago.

WGN-TV’s Debbie Brockman was dragged to the ground, cuffed and bundled into a van - which then rammed her vehicle to escape.

What the hell is happening in America?

Almost midnight in Kyiv.
Calm.
We have power, water.
Drops of rain gently sing a lullaby
to those who didn’t sleep last night.

Please, don’t take for granted
the quiet treasures you have –
power, water, windows, a roof.

TLDR: we're in a significant Covid wave now, the NHS is stretched, get boosted if you're eligible.
