The other thing that is notable about this is that the moment he received pushback, Piers just collapses into a sputtering mess.

This class of 'pundit' has become so used to going unchallenged that they literally don't know how to deal with it. Embarrassing it took so long for this to be exposed.

Is a "A Rotten Girl" as cringe-inducing as the summary implies? Yes absolutely.

But also as someone incredibly susceptible to second hand embarrassment I still read the entire thing in a day, giggling the entire time, 10/10.

A lot of LLM evangelists really don't get that they are going, "Hey, I see you do a lot of cryptic crosswords; well, this app will save you loads of time. It will do them for you! Okay, badly, but it will improve! What do you say?"
Even if it worked (and it doesn't) it is taking away the fun part!

It is always right and just to loathe anthropologists, we're a wretched class of know-it-alls who refuse to take people at their word in favour of our own pet theories.

Muxes identify with lo femenino or
what is feminine and many dress in traditional female attire, but they are not gen-
erally seeking to be transgender, or to be accepted as women.

The gay men I interviewed were even more emphatic and quick to differentiate
themselves from muxes. Mario, an articulate twenty-four-year-old gay man, for
example, said that
For me a muxe is a man who identifies as a woman and likes to dress like a woman. I
am not muxe. I am gay because I have never wanted to dress like a woman or to be one.
They work in female trades. I know I am a man.

I read The Princess and, well, a prince (and his friends) dress as women, and join a women's university. They are very impressed by the learning (and the other girls, by the imposter's height) but the prince is clocked on account of insufficient voice training...
