My first thought was “wow I hope this guy didn’t give out his name because he could absolutely be charged” and yup, he is correct to stay anonymous.

This man’s account is shocking. His neighbors’ situation is shocking. The entire Chicago raid is shocking.

On the other side was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for his help.
"I wasn't planning on letting her stay, but I didn't know what the hell was going on," the man said of his Venezuelan migrant neighbors. But he quickly relented. The little girl was inconsolable and hid under his bed.
"I didn't want them to take her," said the man, who didn't want to be named because he fears he'll be targeted by federal authorities for his actions.
"I gave her my bedroom, and I just told her,
'Just stay there. Don't open, don't, shh, just stay quiet," he recalled telling the mom and daughter as he choked back tears.

This is also why I maintain that a lot of 'rich folks' are not actually rich. They're just tossing around the same 'estimated assets' that I'm not convinced have any actual dollar backing.

And adding imaginary interest on top of those numbers to make 'number go up' in perpetuity.

People who think the idea of "give me ideas" is something genuinely creative people want have literally never experienced the absolute EUPHORIA of a brainstorming breakthrough, either solo or with a human collaborator. They don't understand what is happening when artists create, on a basic level.

I’ve been vegan a long time and known a lot of vegans and something like that would be a hard line that few would hold to. I can’t speak for each individual in the world, but I know I personally am pretty serious about it and would see that as something that you can’t realistically avoid.

Technically, virtually no prescription medicine is vegan either, nor really any medical prodedure. There’s as many answers to that question as there are individual vegans but I think the consensus is that veganism is about choices you can reasonably make when there are reasonable alternatives.

Someone’s gotta explain why in the latest update, someone at procreate decided to make the BG on the layer selection a DARK grey, making it borderline impossible to see your black lineart on the transparent layer selection menu. For WHAT, did you do this?
