Since 2011, the republicans have voted 67 times to repeal the Affordable Care Act. The vote to Repeal never carried. This year, the One Big Beautiful Bill stripped the Federal subsidies the Affordable Care Act needs to operate effectively killing the ACA.

It’s of note that during tonight’s hearing the DoJ didn’t even try to make the case that changing conditions on the ground in Portland warranted the CA National Guard. Instead they relied on legal technicalities. Proving again that what they say in court is different than lies they tell the public.

I still do not understand why Governor Pritzker & Mayor Johnson do not order the Chicago PD & Illinois State Police to arrest ICE agents whenever they witness them committing crimes in Chicago. Abducting citizens from their sleeping beds in apartment buildings is a crime. Arrest the Gestapo.
