I think modern cartoons should start doing the 1980s anime thing where successful directors would just recycle exactly the same character designs in multiple unrelated projects. I want to watch a retrofuturist cyberpunk thriller where the characters are clearly the cast of Steven Universe.

If you love a manga you can only read through scanlations, buy a JP copy if you can! These stories live and die by sales, so if they're not selling, they're ending. Bookwalker and Kobo (currently) aren't region locked digital stores, so it's a relatively simple way to keep the stories running.
