After two years of a genocidal campaign, the first and only officers arrested in Israel were the military prosecutors investigating war crimes.

This is possibly the most illiterate thing I have ever read. Like Nietzsche is the only one of these that is even arguably reasonable

Lance Corporal David James Cleary shot men, women, and children in the back as they were running away

As per usual, the British Establishment has thoroughly investigated all available evidence and found itself innocent of any wrongdoing

Fucking murderers
BREAKING: A former paratrooper known as Soldier F has been found not guilty at Belfast Crown Court of committing two murders and five attempted murders on Bloody Sunday in Derry in 1972

Veterans Commissioner is speaking first as the families have now emerged from the court.
People are heckling him with "murderers".

"The EHRC’s exclusionary interim guidance has had a devastating impact on trans people’s lives"

“Now the guidance has been withdrawn, so should the exclusionary policies that organisations rashly implemented in its aftermath. If not, they could find themselves in hot water.”
EHRC withdraws interim guidance encouraging trans exclusion
After six months of confusion and delay, the EHRC has taken down interim guidance rushed out in April. But the damage has already been done.

not to repeat the obvious but: if they are doing this to one of the most famous Western activists alive, imagine what they are doing to the people whose names we will never know

If reports are to be believed, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya is to remain in Israeli prison (without charges or trial) even after the exchange of hostages.

To put it in blunt terms, judges across multiple cases have essentially taken the line that their strongly held popular prejudices cannot possibly conflict with the law, which must instead be read in their light.
4/ The evil deed of Hodge, Simler, Reed, et al have resulted in a then-18-year-old woman being jailed for 20 months simply for giving a blowjob. They must be held accountable.

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.
Might have to revise my opinion of the Greens as petit bourgeois gardeners because they are absolutely cooking at the moment
Green conference has voted overwhelmingly to call for the Israeli military to be proscribed as a terrorist organisation. #Gpconf
Where did you hear that? Where is your evidence? This hasn't been reported anywhere. You're making it up.

“We have to be really clear that there is no contradiction between saying clearly that antisemitism is completely unacceptable and demanding that the genocide end.”

Na'amod's Em Hilton spoke to @novaramedia.com about organising against antisemitism and for Palestinian liberation.
So your contention is that the overwhelming white, elderly, liberal, pacifist protesters in London yesterday were doing jihadist chants in the Arabic language? You're going to need to provide video evidence for that claim because it is profoundly implausible
Is there any evidence that the old grannies and vicars on the Palestine Action deproscription demos have been doing the Khaybar chant? Because it seems pretty unlikely, frankly.

The consensus across the political-media class is fascism is the answer to facsism. What is being disputed is which briefcases will be the ones imposing it: Reform briefcases, Tory briefcases, or Labour briefcases

Seeing a lot of responses to this saying "great, they can arrest the people outside asylum hotels!" which feels like a canny gotcha but is ultimately just an endorsement of the basic premise of the policy.
BREAKING: The Home Office is giving police new powers to restrict repeat protests like pro-Palestine marches.

Police can consider the ‘cumulative impact’ of protests on an area and could ban the protest / force it to move elsewhere.

Freedom is just another name for “a gap in the law”.
Home Secretary tells Sky News that “there is a gap in the law” when it comes to frequent, repeated protests on the same issue. Hence she will be giving police greater powers to move them to another location or time.
