The us govt weaponising starvation against its own citizens is pretty goddamn barbaric.
Post a film you've seen more than 7 times with a gif.
I've been working on comics and not posting art online. I gotta get a series of posts together about all my little books
Haven't these ghouls made more money than anyone else ever? Wtf? They can't pay their employees well?

Eddy Burback both destroyed ChatGPT and polished up his age regression skills in one video and it sure is something!

We now have multiple visualizations of this phenomenon from various news organizations. Which one is the best?
Khachapuri could be fun to paint. Pie is always an interesting subject. You could do a big cinnamon roll.
👍

I'd love to see him get to do a Warhammer someday. Cavill is often a lot of fun to watch in stuff.
I think it had something to do with WB jumping the gun and announcing him as Superman going forward just as the James Gunn deal was going through.
If you see this, post a vampire that isn’t Dracula.

What if some day we became revered as the last era of real human artists, creators of the source material from which AI creates everything that comes after? Possessors of the lost arts? (I do not want this to happen.)
Is this a joke? Is this stupid robot and this stupid WSJ video a fucking joke?

Artists behind some of the most popular films of all time are also forging one of the most powerful organized resistances to AI.

With solidarity, class action lawsuits and strong legislation, they're fighting to protect their livelihoods, and pop culture, from big tech.

My latest:
How artists behind Marvel, Alien, and the Matrix movies are fighting AI
With solidarity, legislation, class action lawsuits, and a little help from Guillermo del Toro. Plus, the Luddite Renaissance continues, and I open the mailbag.

Scoop: In digging into the AI slopification of the White House, I’ve learned that the president of the United States is capable, from time to time, of posting generative AI videos on his own, per a senior WH official.

“Generative AI is nothing more than a form of social suicide that must be reined in before it’s too late. It cannot be allowed to reach the level of proliferation that social media has achieved”
The AI industry wants us to believe AI superintelligence is the real threat from generative AI.

But that narrative was crafted to distract from the many ways genAI is being used to tear our societies apart, as we saw this week when a deepfake video rocked the Irish election. It must be reined in.
Generative AI is a societal disaster
Governments are deluding themselves into believing investment justifies allowing AI to upend society

Guillermo del Toro on wealth: "a wealthy man is a man who has enough, not a man that needs more. If you have enough to invite someone for a beer? You're rich. If you have a yacht, planes, islands, and you still need more? You're not rich."
Sure is great that big tech can only come up with exploitative scammy trash these days.

No one's born with pro-level talent.
That's years of dedication, effort & sacrifice, no matter the initial talent one's born with.
Those who still dedicate themselves to it may keep improving while others, even talented ones, may plateau.
The APPEAL of their skill is another matter entirely
screw AI

As a person that works in a store that sells toys/nerd shit all I can think Is absolutely yes

Easiest one to point to is pokemon cards. Even if the cards themselves are still roughly the same the way people act have made them effectively Unobtainable for the average kid

Instill get grown ass men
real talk "kids have been priced out of toys" is a really fucked up sentence that I think speaks to a sickness deep in our society, this should not be a thing that happens
