I’ve been listening to Steve Burns’ new podcast, Alive with Steve Burns, and it’s so refreshing to listen to. Just a positive, hopeful look at life and humans that prioritizes the person over the machine. Literally cannot recommend it enough in times like these.

There would definitely be something a bit poetic about a Mariners/Brewers (aka the former Seattle Pilots) World Series. And a Series where either team would be winning their first title would be a delight after last year's "can't they *both* lose?" LA/NY matchup.

There's so little for teens at the box office that Netflix released a movie that had been streaming for two months already and it still made $18M in just one weekend. KPOP DEMON HUNTERS is a great example of doing it right in 2025.

Get better marketing then. I generally don’t watch trailers, and if I do, it’s for something that looks interesting to me. Also, I don’t have to like everything that gets put out, same as anyone else. You came to my post instead of seeing something you didn’t agree with and moving along.

I think one of the more frustrating aspects of descending into fascism is that there are a good number of us that knew where we were going and have been ringing the alarm bells for a decade plus and yet there are still people that seem surprised by it all. Even ones that weren’t in the cult.
