ive snatched the home run ball from a little boy in the stands and the boy is crying. thats just something i like to do. i stole a hat and jersey too, right out of the players hand. i took his dads car keys and fed them to a seagull. i made his mom eat everything in her purse and flipped her off

Baseball stats require such large samples that there aren't really good postseason stats for anybody. There's a saying: "Anybody can do anything in 100 at bats" and that could be like 5 years of postseason stats for someone.

I saw a TikTok a couple of weeks ago of an Australian new baseball fan who was trying to understand some elements of the game, and the question they asked was why they play so many games. Why don't they just play each team once? Anyway, Bryce Miller had a 5.68 ERA this season.

This would:

1) Bring back LOOGYs
2) Allow a team to pull a guy who clearly has nothing after 1 or 2 batters rather than having to wait until he's loaded the bases or given up 3 runs

A few years ago MLB changed the rules so that relief pitchers must face at least 3 batters, which eliminated the LOOGY role. I strongly feel that they should revise this rule so that teams should be allowed ONE exception to this rule a game.
