Sometimes, you just really need cozy reads. Sci-fi romance for fans of Galaxy Quest, Doctor Who, or Lower Decks. Fated mates, alpha heroes / heroines, paranormal abilities, a few grumpy-sunshines and close proximity...even an accidentally married. #Booksky #Ad #Romance

Images of all the book covers in the Love, Gaiians, and Monsters series and universe. They are available on Kindle Unlimited. There are fated mates and alien hotness. They can be read out of order due to a helpful "previously in the universe" intro, and they're funny and quirky.

Book covers shown in the main series:
How to Choose a Gaiian in Seven Days
Earthen Girls are Rarely Easy
Gaiian Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
The Gaiian Who Secretly Loved Me
The Good-ish, the Sexy Kind of Bad, and the AI
Blasterfight at the OK Outpost
Catch Me if You Can, Gaiian
Feer and Loving in Lost Vegas
Ms. Belle and the Gaiian Beast
The Really Great Lab Escape

Novellas in the same universe:
Barrten & Robin
A Spaceship's Rear Window
A Gaiian's Runaway Bride

Making pumpkin fidgets (where you can swap the inner section) for my family and the few trick-or-treaters we get, and I didn't love the copper filament for this as much as I expected. Maybe I just need to make better color combos. I am planning on Tiffany's blue pumpkins.
Small 3d-printed pumpkins in a variety of colors with striping of other colors. You can swap the inner sections between them to get different combinations. Me taking the center out of a purple and black pumpkin. And I've taken the orange center out of a nearby white pumpkin. And I've swapped them like an amazing magician so I have an orange and black pumpkin and a white and purple magic.
*Wendy does jazz hands* Ta-dah!
Yes, maybe a video would have been better. But, a video? In this economy? No, I'm kidding. I'm just terrible at videos and crap like that.

One great aspect of iconic inflatable costumes (aside from how they instantly undermine propaganda about war zones) is that it's useless to arrest the person wearing one. Cuffing a frog would make law enforcement look pathetic. And carting one off just guarantees that more will show up the next day.

A lot of us will make the most we ever will if our books were recognized as stolen in the Anthropic lawsuit (which excluded a lot of books due to copyright registration.)

And it's a bit demoralizing to realize that's how our books suddenly have value...as fodder for a plagiarism machine.

You should be concerned about the rate of authors leaving publishing. Especially from marginalized communities. This year I have seen so many authors just pack it up and go. And it's only getting worse.

Not in all caps, but I have that shirt. I'd buy it again to give PBS money though, and I get comments every time I wear it.

Did you know it was several decades before handwashing in hospitals was implemented after it was found to be necessary in 1846? We’re in the same boat today, except w/ airborne transmission—yes, in 2025. Unfuckingbelievable. So unnecessary, maddening, irresponsible, & dangerous. #MasksInHealthcare

This isn’t fearmongering — it’s reality. Hospital-acquired COVID can delay care or cost you your health — even your life.

Infection control measures — masks, ventilation, testing, and staff/patient protections — should be standard care in every healthcare setting.

Prognostic Chats @PrognosticChats

Some day you’ll be in hospital for surgery or chemotherapy or with another illness & a nurse, or doctor or visitor at the next bed, or the patient opposite you will give you a Covid infection & your treatment will get delayed & your life will be put at unnecessary risk.

Writing something about ICE and sweet Jesus it is so incredibly dark what they are doing to these cities. We have all seen the videos, but when you wade into the details of their actions, it is extraordinarily bleak.

A 15 year old boy with autism went missing earlier this week

He was selling fruit with his family in Springbranch when he disappeared

They filed a missing person’s report & begged the public to help find him

Turns out he was in a Houston ICE detention facility

They kidnapped a disabled child!

really striking the degree to which not a single person working in the trump administration appears to be interested in serving the american people

I ended up with massive bruises from this the last time. The squishing was nothing to the handling without care.

What they say while assaulting people is specifically designed to give them immunity (despite already having qualified immunity!) from their actions. The ISP is basically yelling "stop punching yourself" while attacking peaceful protesters.

Salvation Army seen feeding ICE today. For anyone who doesn't already know about their bigotry, here is more, No need to give them your money this Christmas, or ever.

It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

I'm just one person, and my programming needs are somewhat unusual (building various kinds of statistical forecasting models). But I'm just not seeing the consistent productivity gains from LLMs that I would have expected if you'd asked me 6 months ago.

Yeah no I'm leaving the moment I get a real job again (I suspect I'm a little too feral to be hired at something real, but that's the plan) (surely I can be redomesticated!)

The profit/loss document for my life isn't really working out, oh well
