This hex-map breaks down the share of 15-24 year-olds in Germany and the regional contrast is hard to miss.

Eastern Germany shows much lower shares except for larger cities, while many western and southern areas have noticeably more young people.

Kritik an Wolfram Weimer: Bescheidene Zwischenbilanz

Das will niemand zeichnen

AI presents a fundamental threat to our ability to use polls to assess public opinion. Bad actors who are able to infiltrate panels can flip close election polls for less than the cost of a Starbucks coffee. Models will also infer and confirm hypotheses in experiments. Current quality checks fail

Fascinating how often political commentary in the UK still refers to the median voter. In a multi-dimensional space with salience endogenous to positions, it‘s unclear to me who that should be. In a multi-party system, winning the median voter is of course not necessarily a vote-maximizing strategy.

Trump doesn’t have to call on House Republican to vote to release the file.

Trump can order Bondi and Patel to release the files. Tomorrow.

The question is, has he already ordered Bondi and Patel to destroy some of the files after they went through them months ago.
Trump: "House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide."

Great question, humble reply, surprising replier.
BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: I think that's fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.

No one should have to face such threats.

It would’ve been nice if Greene had realized this before she amplified and endorsed calls for executing Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama.

I don’t want anyone to receive threats, but for many years Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has enjoyed this sort of energy from President Trump when it’s been directed at her political enemies and now objects to it when she’s on the receiving end.
