I think that the Epstein files are going to erode support for Trump and GOP. When that happens, it will be more difficult to corrupt the 2026 mid-terms to keep the house and senate. His fallback position is military force. This military effort is a setup for stealing the 2026 elections by force.

I don't think they are doing state invasions as a distraction from the Epstein files but I do think they are speeding things up in order to consolidate more state power before the files are inevitably seen. But having them off a preferred timeline is at least an advantage.
