I can't begin to explain how much Calvin and Hobbes means to me. I was obsessed with it as a kid, and more than any other individual media, this strip influenced my sense of humor and overall way of looking at the world. It's some of the best fiction writing ever, and I'm so glad I grew up with it.
The final Calvin and Hobbes, which appeared in papers 30 years ago today.
