Fun fact: a number of games - including one I did AI for - use what we call "classical AI": everything from planning, to pathfinding, to even having small ML models to adapt to player behavior, etc.
None of these are generative models, or the product of generative models.

tl;dr: GenAI and game design concepts traditionally referred to as "AI" (enemy behaviors, pathfinding, etc.) are not the same thing, and I'm on my knees begging people to learn the difference, lest we see more bullshit claims like what The Escapist put out re: Blue Prince.
