Thank God there were people filming. This administration would have said Alex Pretti pulled a handgun, a package of fentanyl, and a signed copy of the Communist Manifesto if they could.

The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

The Athletico Mince podcast remains one of the funniest things to ever exist, even if you're not (a) into football or (b) into Northerners. Seek it out and marvel at Andy doing his best to keep up with Bob Mortimer as he streaks across the comedy firmament.
Because things are so depressing thought we could all do with hearing this again. Piss myself laughing every time.

These motherfuckers who shill AI keep saying 'the genie is out of the bottle'.

You realise that stories are full of ways to trick the fucking genie back into the bottle, right?

You keep using that metaphor but I do not think it means what you think it means.

I design nostalgic prints for wargaming that are easy to print on an FDM printer with no supports so there is no hassle removing them.

If only the Telegraph did some proper journalism and tore this guy's story apart like @monkemma.bsky.social has. This is hilarious.
Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…
